Under the aegis of the Great Victory Anniversary and the forthcoming Chemist's Day, a professional skills competition among young laboratory assistants of chemical analysis of the Quality Control Department was held on 14 May.
Five participants demonstrated their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Having determined the order of practical measurements, the laboratory technicians focused on the theoretical stage.
Andrei Rybakov, Belaruskali's Director General, Oleg Cherkas, Deputy Director General for Production, Igor Delendik, Deputy Director General for Ideology and Personnel, came to support the young talented laboratory technicians and wish them success in all their endeavours.
The contestants had to determine the mass fraction of sodium chloride in potassium chloride concentrate by the flame photometry method, as well as the mass fraction of sodium carbonate in the working solution of soda by the titrimetric method.
The members of the commission assessed the correctness and sequence of tasks.
The Grand Prix of the professional skills competition among young QCD laboratory technicians went to Petrikov. The winner is Veronika Dudaleva.
Ekaterina Krivolesova (QCD-2) took the second place and Marina Kovalenya (QCD-1) took the third place.
Cedric Anastasia (QCD-1) and Domanskaya Alina (QCD-3) were just a little bit short of the podium.
The Commission noted excellent professional preparation and efforts of all participants.
Andrei Rybak, Chairman of the Belaruskali’s Primary Trade Union Organization Belhimprofsoyuz, wished them success, professional growth and prosperity.
